Muchas de las preguntas que me hacéis respecto a las letras de U2 hacen referencia a cuando Bono las cambia o añade un párrafo en concierto.
Es bastante típico en Bono. Si yo escribiera las letras de las canciones de U2, también lo haría. ¿Y a que se deben estos cambios en las letras? Bueno, puede haber varias razones:
- Para “unir” una canción a otra en concierto. Si os habéis fijado, nadie como U2 realiza unos interludios tan buenos entre canción y canción, y en gran parte se debe a la letra que Bono introduce.
- Cuando Bono quiere remarcar algún hecho importante, suele incluirlo en la letra de la canción. No se… por ejemplo, ¿Quiere remarcar que África necesita ayuda? Pues hace referencia a África en ‘Where The Streets Have No Name’ durante los conciertos de Vertigo Tour, ¿Quiere recordar el atentado del IRA en Omagh? Pues lo refleja en ‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’ durante el concierto de Slane Castle en 2001…

Y claro muy aparte de esas canciones que compone en el instante por el olvido de la letra, jejeje.
Oye por ahi te apunto en Where the streets have no name que le cambio “Dirty rain” por “The Hurricane” en las interpretaciones del Vertigo Tour.
Y que decir de One, ya nadie sabe si la cancion dice “head” o “bed” creo que en muchos conciertos esto se alterna bastante.
