Interesantes declaraciones de Edge en la revista Rolling Stone sobre el posible setlist de los conciertos de U2 360 Tour.
¿Como sera el setlist?
Edge: Estamos hablando de resucitar canciones que no hemos tocado en mucho tiempo. Tengo una lista de cada canción de U2, incluso canciones B-sides que nunca hemos tocado en directo. Hemos estado pensando lo divertido que seria tocar algo como “Luminous Times.” Ciertas canciones de los últimos tours, no las tocaremos otra vez. Queremos encontrar canciones que sean frescas y validas.
¿Cuanto cambiara el show noche a noche?
Edge: Nuestros espectáculos comienzan a conectar de forma muy emocional y orgánica, y las conexiones entre las canciones, las transiciones, empiezan a ser como mini-actos o movimientos dentro de una obra de teatro. Por lo tanto, una o dos canciones serán diferentes por noche, pero no ocho canciones por noche.
The Edge también comento a Rolling Stone que la banda tocara aproximadamente la mitad de las canciones del nuevo disco de U2, No Line On The Horizon, y que algunas de ellas son las mejores canciones que U2 ha interpretado en directo (funcionan muy bien). Otras, como “Crazy Tonight” han tenido que ser re-escritas para que funcionen bien en directo…
